Reviewed: Hayabusa T3 Boxing Gloves

Updated: Aug 26, 2023

Hayabusa's T3 Boxing Gloves are an update to the standard boxing glove. The gloves are offered in premium leather and faux leather varieties with multiple color combinations.

They bring the modern spin on boxing gloves making them ideal for a mixed martial arts practitioner.

Versatile Boxing Gloves

Training in various martial arts styles can mean a long list of equipment. These Hayabusa T3 gloves are where I went to find a glove for heavy bag work, light sparring, and pad work.

Additionally, I wanted a glove that would be comfortable with or without handwraps underneath. Teaching and having to keep your gloves on isn't always ideal. Being able to trust your gloves to give proper protection and still come off without laces or handwraps is the quality I needed. The gloves went through regular heavy bag training, light sparring in MMA and karate, and partner pad drills.

Pros

  1. Multi-layer wrist support - Dual wrist wrap for tight fit around wrist and hard shell on back of hand and wrist to match the wrist stiffness.

  2. Faux leather coloring holds up well over use.

  3. Microfiber thumb padding - helps wipe away sweat from face.

Cons

  1. Hard to remove gloves on your own - double velcro straps can be tricking to remove with the gloves on.

  2. If you do not like velcro closures, this gloves dual layer straps is thick on velcro.

Who Are These For?

The Hayabusa T3 Boxing Gloves are perfect for the do-it-all glove. If you are looking for a dedicated glove for boxing matches it can fit the role. These gloves are suited best for the athlete who finds themself with and without hand wraps and is seeking to be proficient in multiple styles of striking arts.
